Comme des Garçons - Online Collection

Comme des Garçons is one of my favourite brands, I love how insanely creative Rei Kawakubo and I’m always keen to see what new things the brand is doing. I recently came across an article talking about a new collection that they were releasing that ‘direct-to-consumer’ which basically means it is only sold online and you don’t have to go to a third party store to purchase the products. This collection will be cheaper than their couture line, similar to the popular ‘PLAY’ line. There haven’t been many details released about it yet, all we know is that it is set to be released in July and it will be BIG. Reports have said that Rei Kawakubo will be designing the website herself which I am excited to see because if its anything like their current website we know it will be interactive and packed with visuals. We know this will be an incredible path for the brand and it will increase their popularity. Dover Street Market is considered the coolest store in the 5 cities that it exists in so anything else that they do will also be incredible.
