I recently read a short book written by George Lois who is an American art director, he is best known for designing covers for Esquire magazine during the 60’s. These are some of my favourite designs of his. He tackles controversial subjects in a humorous and creative way, personally I think it works well.

He wrote a short book titled ‘Damn Good Advice (for people with talent). Its a book full of quotes and images to inspire and offer tips. It took me one night to get through it and I really enjoyed it, bookmarking a few of my favourite pages with advice that I really would follow. He also includes some funny stories that have occurred during his time working in the industry. Take a look through the slideshow of my favourite pages!
You can pick this book up for a few pounds on Amazon, I think its such a cute little book to have if you are a creative person!
