Fornever - New Brand to Watch Out For!

I came across this clothing brand from the adverts that are now on Instagram. The first image I saw was a t shirt that had a picture of Stewie Griffin on from Family Guy, I love Family Guy so immediately recognised him. However written underneath him was ‘Stewie Vuitton’ I got the pun immediately and thought it was hilarious. I went on their website to see what else they had to offer. I quickly discovered that they create funny designs that are relatively cheap and they make great wardrobe staples, they obviously don’t take themselves seriously and they just experiment with the fun side of fashion, playing around with brands and logos.

Fornever describe themselves as a fresh, up and coming, independent brand. They say that they take inspiration from all walks of life; real girls, the catwalk, social media and street trends. The main idea of their designs is that they take a fashion brand and put a twist on it but placing it next to an image of a character from popular culture or they put two brand names together to create a clever slogan.

Here are a few of my favourites: Christian Eior – a take on Winnie the Pooh’s Eeyore and Christian Dior. Thirsty… for attention – playing around with the Evian logo. Comme des Gaston – my favourite, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast paired with fashion brand Comme des Garcons. Elle Mo- Elmo and fashion magazine ELLE.
