When it comes to the projects at uni we have to work through it in stages. We start at the Context stage which is full of primary and secondary research, we have to do surveys and interviews etc. The Context stage is my favourite as I love initial research. The second stage is the Ideas stage where we come up with as many broad ideas as possible based on our research. The third stage is where we are at now, the Concepts stage. In my opinion this is the hardest stage. We have to pick one idea then interpret it in 3 different ways. We are advised to make mood boards including colour palettes, typography, and other concepts. After Concepts we move on to the Outcomes stage.

For the Concepts stage we split up the work load. I was given the job of creating the mood boards. We had 2 ideas for the concepts. Concept 1 is very graphic, bright pastels, and geometric. We would be using quotes that are simplistic and fun. This is a very modern concept. Concept 2 is floral, light pastels, and with a wishy/washy watercolour aesthetic. We thought this concept was too traditional and too expected for our consumer. Out of the 2 our favourite is the much more modern concept 1.
